Aya Shishani was born in Jordan and grew up in Arlington, Texas. In 2017, she received her Bachelor of Science from the University of Texas at Arlington, where she majored in Civil Engineering and minored in Mathematics. After graduation, Aya worked as a Roadway Engineer, designing streets, sidewalks, and underground utility systems in the Dallas-Fort Worth metroplex. She left engineering and joined Dental Health Specialists in 2020 as Dental Assistant and Office Manager. Her true passions lie in caring for and helping others. Aya loves traveling with her husband and aims to visit as many countries and national parks as she can. She also enjoys portrait and landscape photography, gardening, playing board games, and working on home projects. Ask her about her crazy orange tabby cat that likes to wake her up at crazy hours of the night.
